New toy: Piano Gadget for the windows side bar

Was scrolling through microsoft.com's gallery of gadgets early this week (or maybe last week), looking for a multiple-clock gadget that I could use to show more than one time zone, when I stumbled across photo-bon's piano gadget. I downloaded the thing and now I've got a new toy when I want to take a break from surfing the net, doing something with a microsoft office program, or some other activity necessitating my laptop.

The piano gadget has the low F to soprano E keys, or basically the whole middle octave and a few more keys higher and lower. You can use the mouse or the keyboard to play it. I suspect anyone who's ever played a real piano would pick the keyboard over the mouse. Unfortunately, you can't play more than one note at once. It serves well to give me a few minutes of fun, especially when I try to oido a melody that decides to pop into my head ... with the lyrics from a website open in a browser window as a plus. My Kawai will get jealous. ha ha ha!

Holy Cables!

Stopped working before 7PM. The guys who were supposed to hide the computer and LAN cables at the Trading and Int'l Markets Divisions started work and that meant shutting down the PCs.

Later realized that the Treasurey Marketing Division left their Reuters 3000 Xtra open.

Noticed that the stage for the PNB's Got Talent has been set up. I wonder who got the guts AND the time to audition. Would probably find out at the anniversary.
